    Robe Accommodation Information
A look at what is available in
Robe in terms of pricing and availability ,

The term picturesque, historic fishing village is often overused when describing coastal holiday towns but in Robe’s case, it is quite an appropriate description, and in fact if there were an Australian competition for best “picturesque, historic fishing village” then Robe would certainly be standing on the podium and probably holding the gold medal.
Even Robe’s distance from Adelaide (and the other major population centres) has prevented it from becoming too touristy and has helped in preserving its character, in fact Robe’s main tourist attraction is “There are no tourist attractions”, no McDonald’s , or Hungry Jack’s or theme parks full of kiddie rides.

Because of this Robe is quite a popular family destination and tends to be quite busy over the summer holiday season and booking is generally essential for the Christmas holidays and also for January and February

Accommodation Available in Robe

Holiday Rentals are by far the largest sector in the Robe accommodation market with over 400 properties available in Robe.
Most are privately owned investment style properties and range from small 2 bedroom beach houses to luxury 5 bedroom residences. . Over the summer holiday period most places have a 5 to 7 night minimum stays and 2 − 3 night minimums during the rest of the year. We have a small number listed on this guide and by dealing direct with the owners you won't have to pay a booking commission

Apartments
There are also a number of locally owned apartments and houses - amongst these the following properties are well worth looking at - Lakes Edge, a three bedroom house located beside Lake Fellmongery, - Dolphin Court Apartments, three bedroom apartments close to the centre of Robe - Aloha Beachfront, a four bedroom holiday property with views over Main beach.
Over the summer holiday season you can expect 5 to 7 night minimum bookings, but if you are looking for a shorter stay then often you can pick up a last minute vacancy as the owners fill up blank spots in their booking calendar but this will usually only happen at the last minute ( e.g. mid December) and you will need to contact the owner directly.

Motels
Motels are the best option for shorter stays over the summer holiday season, although you can still expect 2 or 3 night minimum stay over the peak Christmas period ( 25th Dec - 15th Jan), but usually from mid January onwards you should be able to get single nights.
Robe has a range of good motels, but two that are worth looking at are, firstly at the budget end of the market , the Guichen Bay Motel, which is located in the centre of Robe and has clean and comfortable rooms at quite reasonable prices. Guichen Bay Motel also has its own excellent on site restaurant.
If you are looking for something a bit more upmarket then Robetown Motor Inn is a good choice. Robetown Motor Inn has Robe’s only indoor pool and spa and is also quite close to the town centre. Management of both of these properties is very good so you can expect friendly and competant service

B&B’s
There are a number of Bed and Breakfasts in Robe and most seem to cater to the upper end of the market, one stand out property is Villa San Danci which has great sea views and also close to restaurants and shops.
Villa San Danci is run by retired businesman, Gordon Biddle and his wife and they are very gracious hosts and their hospitality is hard to fault.
